About Reside Infernus
Insults' initial intentions were to release the debut album, 'Reside Infernus' as a self-release. You will find some first edition CDs and I'm sure these will end up being rare. The signing to 'Metal on Metal Records' happened later. As a self-release, (Insult Records), the release date for the album was to be released on Friday, May 25th which had already been set. Once the record company heard the album, they wanted it released earlier. This release date was April 25th, so when you see different release dates for the album, this is the reason why.
Although the album was recorded digitally, we didn't use any synch tools, auto tunes etc., so what you hear is what you're going to get in a live performance.
On recording the album, Jase Stallard had injured his right hand so bad, it was deemed too gory for a social network site, so the image was banned from the platform. This injury delayed the bass tracks being put down but didn't slow the rest of the band carrying on with their recording parts.
Two singles were released from the album. 0-60 'Death or Glory' was the first and you will find the title track 'Reside Infernus' was the second. This is a shorter length radio edit.
The extraordinary album Art is by Alex Cooper. This interpitation is the wall of hell made of lava. In the centre is a round furnace like gate to hell with intricate carvings with a tortured human face in the centre. We have had to water down the image on this site as you will probably have to wait a day for it to load. The detail on the original art work that we use on our T's and CDs etc., is immense.
